PIECES OF LIFE | Drawings on paper

The figures I draw, live between dimensions, behind the veil of the world as we know it, behind the thin curtain hiding all that is somewhere else, but were, to an eye invisible? Everything appears to be in a state of constant and inevitable change & transformation. Characters made from secrets, stains, and worries, the gaze of a phantom ‘other’, the core nature of the figures are moving to and from locations, sailing through worlds – in and out of existence!

We were entering dark houses,
Always more dark houses,
Hushed and abandoned.
There was someone with eyes closed
On the upper floors.
The fear of it, and the wonder,
Kept me sleepless.
